It's been quite awhile since I blogged, so this is an overview of what's been going on at Osborne Kindergarten:
Skate Birthday Party (this wasn't necessarily homeschool, but was for a homeschool buddy)Joshua did so well with his skates and walker. By the end he was skating without it and not spending more time on his rear than wheels!
One afternoon when Dad was off work we took a trip downtown to the pier to check out the "pirate ship". It was very educational and so much fun walking around and spending time together.

Emma's award-winning "bug" Valentine mailbox!Ellie, the escape artist....very hard to keep track of with a million kids running around at the skate center!
Emma's $5 winnings for best mailbox ages 3-6
Joshua's 2nd place "monster" Valentine mailbox
MLK DayChurch Homeschool Group playdate at the park!
We visited the dentist for the first time. The kids loved it because they got to play video games and received free toothbrushes!!! :DSpeaking of teeth, Joshua lost another one....dentist says he's gonna need braces big time since his teeth are so close together. Yay :( Emma's gonna need some work too. She has a crossbite and will need a brace to spread open the roof of her mouth and realign her jaw so it will grow straight. Other than that, only one small cavity (dr says he's brushing fine, but since Joshua's teeth are so tight we will have to floss carefully so he doesn't get more) and everything is fine. What a blessing considering how we worried that Emma's thumb-sucking would be ruining her. Dr says it hasn't really moved her teeth around and after the brace for a couple months to open the roof of her mouth, she shouldn't even need braces on her teeth!
