Ellie's 1st Trip to the Beach

Last weekend we decided on a whim to take a family trip to Pensacola Beach. We haven't been to the beach (which is only 15ish miles away from our house) since we were there to tell family we were pregnant with Ellie!!!! How ridiculous?!!! So, one evening around 6pm we headed out. It was the perfect time, the sun was out but not too hot or bright. No strong winds blowing and we stopped the car on the quieter Gulf side. Not too many waves and hardly anyone there. PERFECT. The kids had a ball playing in the water, racing each other, looking for shells, and building sand castles. Ellie was content to lay on the towel or put her feet in the water with Dad's help. She is definitely gonna be a beach baby! We also got a few pictures of the beautiful sunset and ocean. We left after 8pm and stopped by Krispie Kreame to end the evening with a treat. I thank the Lord for my wonderful and special family!!!
